Decent adapter. The range is very good, but not great. For best performance, use an antenna that plugs directly into the adapter, or use a high-gain antenna with the shortest possible cable. The supplied antenna cable is too long (loss of signal), making it difficult to receive the weakest signals. Be careful when using it with a USB extension cable as this device is very sensitive to interference so only a quality cable will work without data errors. if I didn't have a lemon The software monitors signal quality and data rate very well, but offers little to adjust adapter settings. The product was delivered quickly and works with Windows 8 and 10.
