This is the most convenient! My Garmin Nuvi (and its predecessor) can sit on my dashboard while driving so it's easy to see. When I stop I unplug it and put it on the ground which is not visible from the outside so I don't worry about someone stealing it. It's well made, it's heavy enough not to slip off, and it's not too bulky to pack for travel when I rent a car. Great find! I had to replace one of them because I didn't pay attention to the locking mechanism when I was traveling and it broke. But I was very careful with this last one and everything has been fine since I got it and traveled with it. I can't find it anywhere else - well, not an auto parts store or Best Buy etc so I was glad to find it here.
