What convinced me to buy this product is the 3.1A rating on each of the three USB 3.0 ports, meaning you get three Devices must operate at the same time each consumes as much power, plus one with even higher power consumption on the QC port. However, the sad reality is that the 3.1A figure is actually the COMBINED maximum power among the three ports. I discovered this by trying to connect two LED ring lights, each drawing 2A of current (@5V), and they immediately went out. It also means, for example, that you can't charge two or more modern flagship phones at full speed via USB ports at the same time. The only saving is that the QC port and USB 3.0 ports are on separate circuits, so this adapter can power a MAXIMUM of two devices that draw more than 2A. In this scenario, the remaining two are USB 3.0 -Ports completely useless, which does not correspond to the description, hence 3 stars. If this point had been advertised I wouldn't have to deduct two stars, but on the other hand I probably wouldn't buy this product at all and would go for the cheaper and fewer USB 3.0 ports. Lesson for the Seller: Be very careful that the specs in the listing do not misrepresent the true capabilities of the product or your customers will be disappointed. lights up at the same time (with one connected to the QC connector), and while it generates too much heat for my liking, it doesn't move into the problem area.
