We have replaced a very old Bose system do this because of its cost. We had a hard time finding an acceptable alternative to this stereo. So we tried. By price. It's just okay. This stereo is literally an old Volkswagen stereo installed in a speaker box. This thing actually has some weird functional issues that the company tells you about because it's a car stereo. The sound quality is good, the functionality is not bad, but it behaves like a car radio. If you can overlook the issues and the fact that it's a bit pricey for what it is, you won't be disappointed. In general, this is not bad. UPDATE: After using this thing for a few months, we found that despite the instructions not to turn off the device with the physical power button in order to use the controller for power, the controller is still very inconsistent in its ability to turn on the device. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The Bluetooth function also leaves a lot to be desired at best. Good luck connecting this thing to one of your music players via Bluetooth at any time. Again, sometimes this isn't the case and you'll have to start the setup menu again to allow your phone, for example, to connect. Finally, once you've connected your device via Bluetooth, good luck with the sound getting through at all. We've found that 75% of the time when we plug in a device and the player plays music but there's no sound on the stereo, we have to use the controller to mute the stereo multiple times, and then most of the time will start working. .For over $200 this stereo is NOT EVEN WORTH as it is an old box VW stereo with some inferior speakers. If I paid $75 for this item I wouldn't complain at all, but paid more than $200. I'm getting ready now. Huge robbery. UPDATE 2: Went to the KEiid site to see who to contact for support or to find a firmware update for this expensive used VW stereo and nothing. you have nothing This is another Chinese night seller that Revain still allows to sell junk on its website. I've lost so much confidence ordering from Revain because they continue to let these types of unverified sellers sell junk on their site.
