I've been connecting this to the 3090FE for 5 months now. I had a rather strange behavior right after the installation. Below is a list of GPU behavior changes I've experienced, all of which are adverse. Sometimes my graphics card would just shut down completely and wouldn't turn back on without a hard reset, but never during boot. Every time I started streaming media (Netflix, Hulu, etc.), my display would flash black for 2 seconds before returning (as if it had temporarily lost signal). - In rare cases, the graphics card did not start at all when booting. - In rare cases, the graphics card showed, but the LEDs on the GPU itself were off. It's been a week since I put the OEM adapter back in and I haven't had any of these issues since. Too bad because it looks so much better (actually I wanted white but it was sold out. I think silver is tasteless). I think 5 months of use is enough to consider it unusable. Instability is just too much.
