My Fitbit passed away too soon and too easily. My sweat seeped into the Fitbit and created fog on the lens. The warranty was unnecessary and it didn't take time or postage to fix, so I bought this cheaper fitness watch and boy have I been happy so far. Now it doesn't look like Samsung smartwatches. First of all, this is a FITNESS WATCH. Yes, it can track who is calling and texting your cell phone, but it's basically a FITNESS TRACKER. Remember. I have 4 face options and no more. I tested it the first week. It hasn't left my wrist for the past week and I've been training in it. I also vacationed in Oklahoma, where I swam and kayaked on Lake Murray and walked and climbed the trails and rocks of Lake Texoma. Not once failed. It records your steps, heart rate and blood pressure and alerts me when my heart rate is too high. The battery was solid and didn't need charging, and it never got water in. In general, while satisfied. Keep in mind that there is some learning curve and limited features, but the case feels solid and semi-heavy and I like the silicone strap. As mentioned above, it was solid during my trial period (and I did some strenuous activity). It even came with an extra stripe. So far I feel like it's financially burying Fitbit, which I paid three times more for.
