My order was shipped by a third party company called HARVARD MARINE. The cable is described as 12 feet long. The fully folded length is 18 inches. The seller claims it will be 12 feet long when fully deployed, but that's not true. The handset cord that came with your phone is 12 inches long when fully coiled and 6 feet long when fully unwound. According to AT&T, the actual usable length of the original cable when stretched is one meter. So if a 12" twisted pair becomes 3 feet of usable stretched cable, then a fully twisted 18" cable will be 4.5 feet long when stretched to its maximum usable length, and not 12 feet; fully extended, that would be nine feet, not 12. The description is misleading. I asked for a replacement with a 12' usable stretched cable but was denied. The maximum length of the cable they sent me is 9 feet and if stretched that far it could snap out of the pipe.
