Just received and not yet tried with a load. It is well made and looks very solid. The small built in voltmeter is as accurate as you would expect from a small analog meter. The real catch is that at a nominal 120V input voltage, that variac range is 0-150V, not 0-130V as advertised. The problem is that the scale under the handle is marked 0-130V so the scale reading is nowhere near the actual output voltage. This is not a problem for me as I will be monitoring the output with a digital meter, but I would caution those who try to rely on the knob/dial position for the output voltage value.
