Bought a "decorative" pillow for the room in a combination of light blue, off-white and white. The cover is made of soft, almost linen-like fabric. It is "thinner" so you can see if there is a print on the pillow. Slightly worn creases if not ironed. It has a casual look. A prop is a suitcase in the shape of an envelope, open at one end and with one side folded. I would call this case creamy white rather than bright white or stark white. The pom poms are a lighter white, but the combination works really well. I can't comment on its durability or "easy to clean" as they are not used for sleeping pillows. According to the washing instructions, wash inside out to protect the pom poms.
