Really useful βtoolβ on the boat, but a bit fragile
While I can feel the wind in the tiller and the boat's overall performance, it helps other helmsmen steer the boat better with this Article to the top of the mast . It's very easy for me to explain that the tail should stay outside of the "V". However, there is no reason to make them from such thin plastic. I've had two of these broken ones - one at the shipyard who was working on my boat and said "it's already broken", and the other because of age and the bird sitting on it.
