Review on 🐱 Cute Cartoon Cat Recovery Collar for Cat Wound Healing - Protective Pet Cone After Surgery Elizabethan Collars for Kittens and Small Dogs by Doreen Johnson

Overall I am very happy that I bought this collar.

My cat licked the incision after neutering so the vet made her very embarrassed. She definitely finds this soft pillow collar more comfortable than the plastic cone. She is more relaxed, sleeps and eats better. However, all is not well with the pillow collar. It smells strongly of chemicals when it first arrives, so I recommend washing it (and spraying it with Feliway) before applying it to your cat. It washes easily by hand and dries overnight. If it comes into contact with food or water, the fabric absorbs it, so I have to help her move it out of the way while she's eating. jump more. A few times she tried to get up on the couch, the underside of the pillow collar hit the couch cushion and my cat pressed her face against the couch. She tends to put her paw through the neck hole in the collar. This only happens in the litter box, so all I have to do is keep an eye on her and pull her paw out if she gets stuck (but be aware that if your cat is pliable, she can sometimes slip her front leg through the stretchy neck) . . Opening). Just as the cloth soaks up food juice, you also need to make sure it doesn't get near the poo (if your cat is like mine and wants to check on her work and make sure she's buried properly). My kitten is medium sized, about 9 pounds.
