Excellent value for money and quality. decent quality. Easy setting.

I really like this 2 door 4 person tent. I've camped a lot with tents and am getting stronger and now I'm traveling across 4 states, at the age of 63 I'm looking for features that I know I'll need. For example, this one has two doors. This is an update that other manufacturers often do not include. It costs more to craft, but it makes a world of difference when you need to "go" in the middle of the night. me right? I wouldn't consider a tent with one door anymore. Even our 2-person Hyke and Bike Ultralight travel tent has two doors, as does our 2-person Forecatt tent. Our 2-person North Face mountain tent also had two doors. In addition, this tent offers large triangular mesh pockets on two walls. This is also a new feature and an update. Sometimes for tents of this size you will get one, usually two, small rectangular mesh pockets. So essential for storing your glasses, keys, flashlight, money, etc. easily and quickly, so thank you Deerfamy! Ceiling fan/light hook is a nice touch. Not much, but it shows they care by adding it. A nice upgrade for a tent of this size would be a loft. The attic is a grid panel attached to the corner clips. This allows you to hang items on the floor for less clutter. Another item they may have but not include is a simple clothesline. So simple, but so valuable when camping. However, I appreciate how things turned out. Piece of the cake! I was happy to see that the shock corded fiberglass rods came with strong elastic cords, which really helped speed up the build. Yes! Also, I was happy to learn that you don't need to run poles through the sleeves to set up this tent. Simply center the poles on the tent already pitched and secure. I assure you, it really saves time and relieves stress. The dishes came up easily and quickly which was nice. No problem. It rained heavily last night and we stayed dry inside. Didn't use stretchers on my first setup as they weren't needed, but when it was windy it could. I like that the guy's lines are in bright colors. It is easier to see at night, so as not to trip and fall. I would suggest using at least two, pulling the rainfly away from the tent while still maximizing window ventilation. Speaking of visibility, ha ha! word for $5! The door zip is highlighted in the same bright color, making it much easier to find the zip at night. The zipper really gets stuck in this light colored door flap, sometimes the fabric catches on the zipper mechanism, sometimes the velcro is a problem. Go slowly when opening, then everything will be fine. This tent is a clone of others that have been around for many years. We had the 9' x 9' Eureka and the 12' x 12' Eureka which were structurally similar to this tent. They are also much more expensive but don't have a second door! As a seasoned camper, I would once again humbly offer the following suggestions for the best camping experience. Take 5mm or even better 10mm plastic. Foil from the hardware store. Cut out a piece the size of the floor. This will be the footprint of your tent. It used to be called earth tissue, but nobody else uses that term. It keeps the bottom of the tent clean and helps protect the tent from potential damage. This is your first line of defense. You can also use a tarp, but it should ONLY be the size of the floor and no larger. Folded down is good. When it rains you don't want the water that runs off the tent to be channeled back into the tent. Using more plastic wrap, cut out another, larger trace. Add 4 inches to each wall this time. This is an inner protection to be placed inside the tent. It protects the floor of your new tent from dirt, grime and abrasion. It's your second line of defense, keeping you DRY during the toughest of times. downpours you have ever experienced. It also makes cleaning oh so very easy. Just gather the 4 corners of the plastic wrap, take it outside and shake out any dirt or debris you brought with you. Welcome back! At some point you may wish for a better tent. This is a personal preference. Enjoy outdoor recreation! Solid 5 stars for equipment, design and price. It is a simple, quick and easy to set up tent that offers an important "quality of life". "Features at an affordable price that allow a family on a budget to still get outside and enjoy the great outdoors. I recommend this tent and will buy again.
