It charges my laptop well but while using it I smelled something hot, like heated plastic. A portion of the power adapter becomes SO HOT that you could easily burn yourself. I was really surprised because it hadn't fully charged my laptop yet, so it had been unplugged for a very long time, maybe 10 minutes. Maybe it's just mine, but I don't think it's safe. Otherwise I like it very much. Update: This is my third charger. Both just stopped working, got a replacement. It's been a week and now this one is heating up too, almost too hot to touch, and I've got a feeling it's going to get bad again. Really disappointed.
