Is working. Great idea. Cheap Chinese design. $50 is probably fine.

Here's the thing. It's not made very hard, it's typically mediocre Chinese quality. Accessories made of plastic and low-quality steel. However, it's not exactly what I would call "toy" quality. That being said, if you want something built right, you have to pay a skilled worker a living wage to build it. It will definitely connect your phone to the binoculars, but you have to understand that it turns on and off slowly, so you won't be able to take pictures of game for a few seconds. This is best for simply attaching the phone and leaving it alone, to take pictures from a long distance, stationary, from a stable tripod. Some people said they played around for 20 minutes to set it up and then gave up. IF that's true, they should have their driver's licenses revoked because they are a danger to society. There are 3 adjustments in total. Not so hot what's up. My 8 year old niece was able to figure it out without looking at the direction. These folks with mechanical issues leaving bad reviews are doing those looking for an honest review a disservice. BTW I use it to connect my iPhone X to the Swarovski EL 10x42 binoculars and it works great. It won't last long with heavy use. You will not pass this gem on to your grandchildren. Unfortunately we live in a "throw away" society but for $50 you can get some cool long range rifle shooting videos or whatever else you want. There are 3 adjustments in total. Not so hot what's up.
