Produces GREAT sound for a budget soundbar!

This is a review of the Soundbar Bestisan Model SG01. I used the Bestisan model ST08 which is the previous generation of the SG01. I liked the ST08 so much that I got curious when they released the new SG01. The price was the same as the previous generation and when I bought the SG01 Revain had a 20% discount coupon I could use which brought the price down even further. The SG01 is easy to set up right out of the box and the manual is easy to read. I'm a full-time camper and live in a small space. My TV is a 10 year old Toshiba with great picture but lousy sound. The soundbar is great for this TV and small space, but the sound is so much BIGGER. I would like someone to post a review of using this soundbar in a large room. This soundbar doesn't come with a subwoofer, but it does have a plug-in if you want to use one. I prefer not to use a subwoofer. It's important to go into your TV's sound settings and change it to "PCM". I didn't do this and the soundbar still worked but then stopped. As I was looking at the soundbar and trying to figure out what was happening, I noticed a small message in front of the soundbar saying I should turn my TV's audio setting to "PCM". This fixed my problem. The first thing that struck me when watching a movie with this soundbar was the diction. The spoken words were crisp and clear even though there was a lot of action going on in the film. As I got older, my hearing deteriorated. This soundbar helps a lot with that. The Bluetooth feature is easy to use and I use it to wirelessly stream music from my laptop or phone. Again, the diction is so good that I can easily pick up the words in the song. I turned the volume all the way up to see if there is any distortion and there is none, which impresses me. The soundbar remote control has 3 standard sound buttons for music mode, movie mode and dialogue mode. I often use cinema mode even when listening to music. The remote has up and down buttons for treble and bass which I played with which is pretty nice. It has a reset button to go back to default settings if I mess up with the treble and bass buttons. I like it. In general, the price of this device hasn't hit my wallet, and the sound is amazing. Now I just need to find a happy person to gift my old generation soundbar to.

Pros
  • 🎵Touch Screen and Remote Control: Smooth touch screen and infrared remote control, the speaker responds, making this soundbar easy to control.
Cons
  • unreliable
