If you're a pro, or think you are, look elsewhere. You probably shouldn't buy a $100 scanner, let alone review it and whine about it. But if you're a beginner like me with hundreds if not thousands of old slides and negatives of various sizes, this works really well. I transferred them to the scandisk that came with it, and then to my computer. Very easy. However, the negative holder is an opening bear, but I soon realized I could just leave it in the machine, slide my 35mm negatives in, and pull them out the other side. I can take 50 year old negatives and the color is as good as a negative of this age can get.
