Review on Brooklyn Botany Lip Scrub Exfoliator Personal Care : Lip Care by Raquel Lopez

Great smell and taste while smoothing lips

Packaged in a 1 ounce glass jar, the lip scrub smells great and gently smooths away any tiny flakes on lips while adding a little moisture. I only needed a little touch to get good results. I tried the scrub before reading the ingredients and thought it reminded me of granulated sugar in texture. Read the label and it's actually the first ingredient. I was pleased! Apply a little to your lips and rub in gently, it only takes a minute (lips don't cover much territory after all) but if you leave it on for a minute or two longer, soybean oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter and shea butter will nourish yours Lips moisturized and leaves a shine when washed off. After using the scrub my lipstick got sooooo smooth! Made a huge difference and I didn't have chapped lips to begin with. This thing will be a real must-have in the dead of winter! The smell is definitely coconut, and the taste seemed to be coconut too, until I left the scrub on my lips for a few minutes. After that, I noticed a faint taste of soybean oil (and I think other oils). The oils were fresh and tasted good. There is no security seal on the jar, but there is a removable plastic disc under the lid. A great product that takes very little to work wonders.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • too silly
