I would have preferred a coiled cord, but this one works just fine. I only gave four stars just because.

As mentioned, not very bright during the day. I have an old Land Rover without hazard lights and bought this as an alternative. My main concern is being seen at night and I think this lantern is well suited for that purpose. I would have preferred a coiled cord, but this one works just fine. I only gave it four stars because it's advertised as "Super Bright" but is actually bright enough for nighttime use.
