The pair has been completely redesigned and connected with wires for permanent use on a dump truck. Seems cheap but for the price and the extra TLC I'm totally happy!

I don't think I'd trust a magnet to hold this thing to my car while I'm driving, but it's bright enough to catch the attention of those behind me when I stop.

Light in itself is beautiful and good - it serves its purpose. However, the cable is coiled and not long enough. It's inconvenient to run the cord through the window of my pickup truck to the outlets. From my perspective it should have been a straight vise over 10 feet long.

I have a switch in the tractor cab and the tractor is in a heated garage all winter, after 1 year the switch broke. It is completely rusted inside where the plug enters the socket. The switch stops working if left connected to the network. The quality of the switch did not convince me at all. I really like the light, if the switch didn't corrode so easily this would be a good buy.

As mentioned, not very bright during the day. I have an old Land Rover without hazard lights and bought this as an alternative. My main concern is being seen at night and I think this lantern is well suited for that purpose. I would have preferred a coiled cord, but this one works just fine. I only gave it four stars because it's advertised as "Super Bright" but is actually bright enough for nighttime use.
