The switch rusts quickly

I have a switch in the tractor cab and the tractor is in a heated garage all winter, after 1 year the switch broke. It is completely rusted inside where the plug enters the socket. The switch stops working if left connected to the network. The quality of the switch did not convince me at all. I really like the light, if the switch didn't corrode so easily this would be a good buy.
