Size MUCH smaller for a fitted look
I bought this hoping to get the nice streamlined look that most elastic belts give but if you want that look go a few sizes down. Yes, multiple sizes! All the smaller sizes sold out before I could get mine back, so I ended up unstitching one of the faux leather pieces and cut off 8.5 inches (yes, eight and a half inches) of the elastic. , and sew it back. I'm happy with how it looks now, but I was really surprised at how stretchy this belt was.
