This is a really cute set of 11 rattles/teething rings. The colors are a bit more complex than most and the animal shapes are fun, although some are more abstract than others. Each teether is made of hard plastic and features at least one additional sensory feature such as silicone teether textures, rattles, rotating rings and a beeping sound! 2 small issues: the neck of the ostrich rattle moves and doesn't seem to be attached as tightly and smoothly as it could be. There is a small bead on the neck which poses some choking hazard if the head comes off. In addition, the lid of the box has a recess for one of the teething rings. The box looks weird without the teether. This is a very minor issue that doesn't stop the box from being widely used as a pencil case, it just seems like a silly design decision. Overall this is a great set for a single family or for a personalized gift.
