Blocked made to look decent and the position of the leds works well with the lenses of my Ford Ranger fog lights giving a nice wide fan with a sharp vertical demarcation. Can't speak to any other brand but the fit for my car was terrible! 914x lamps have a red O-ring behind the bulb for a water seal. Either the ring is too thick or the groove it sits in isn't deep enough. The lamp did not fully seat and would not rotate to lock into place, even with silicone grease. Installation was so difficult that I was afraid of twisting the heatsinks of the LED bulbs or damaging the screw caps on my bulb holders, which are also plastic. The standard bulbs were reliable, but they were easy to remove or repair. As a result, I replaced the O-rings on the old lamps. It's hard to sit still, but it's possible. Also, the plug for my outlets was reverse wired. The back did allow the lamps to work, but that meant the plastic latch and lamp stem faced each other and were only held in place by friction. My guess is good used components, but what looks good on a blueprint doesn't always fit in the real world.
