My daughter is obsessed with leprechauns and St. Patrick's Day and wanted leprechaun pants to go with her shirt. She saw her and fell in love. She is 5 years old so I ordered 7/8, they fit great and have some room to grow. The material is soft and high quality, and the waistband is comfortable and has a drawstring. We haven't washed them yet so I can attest to how they are after washing but if I had to guess I'd say they would be fine.
