My daughter got 2 for her birthday and my kids loved it but it works just like most other reviews. Ice cream doesn't set well at all, making it look more like a cocktail than ice cream. We followed the instructions exactly and did it four times in a row (both with Ice Cream Magic) and got the same results each time. It's more work than it's worth to me, but my kids enjoyed making and stirring ice cream. Also, make sure you measure exactly as you're told (don't add more liquid) or you'll end up with a HUGE mess because the cup is so small leaving no room for extra.
