I really like that the holder has a hinged cover to keep dust out. I also like that it rotates so I can see all my earrings easily. The device appears to be well made. However, if you have a lot of stud/earrings and wire/teardrop earrings, you can keep them in separate holders. When I tried to store both types in one, things got awkward. You can't store anything but poles/bolts with a block on the side (my preference, looks more organized). Otherwise, anything longer than 1/2 inch will hang when you try to turn the knob.
