Warm. I haven't felt the need for a bathrobe in a long time. Being in the age group I'm in, it's about time I got it. The cold seems to come on time like never before. I took a chance and opted for a fleece bathrobe. Don't get me wrong, in my world, fleece is the backbone of outerwear and blankets. When I received this robe I put it on to see if it fit me. For me it's close enough in size not to matter, although it's a bit small. If I was the next size up I would probably swim in it or set it up like a tent. Overall this has to be the warmest bathrobe for me. Humans lose 80% of their heat through their heads. The hood keeps this to a minimum and everything else keeps you warm. Unlike a lot of people, I keep my house at 48 or so at night, so it's normal to feel cold when I crawl out of bed. Wearing this robe gives me warmth almost immediately and maintains that warmth very easily. I had my doubts at first, but I didn't take off this robe when I got up and it was cold in the house. I can't wait for the winter to see if it's as warm as it is now. Your mileage may vary based on your metabolism, house temperature, etc. Good for me!
