I bought a medium size (women) bathrobe. I wear a size 14 and am 5'3 tall. Fits perfectly. It's mid-calf and I roll up the sleeves. Very soft, not bulky, warm. I love the hood! Lays flat when not in use. A very attractive coat. My husband made me order it! He is 6ft tall, weighs 170lbs and usually wears a medium size which I ordered and it fits perfectly. He loves it too. Washed and dried without quality and length changes.

I also bought the XL and she usually wears large but I wanted it to be a bit roomy so I think the sizes are as expected. The white hem does not continue inside the robe but adds a nice touch. This bathrobe is everything I wanted my husband to be. It's incredibly soft and warm, and the hood is a great bonus if you don't have a lot of hair to keep your head warm! Yes, the bathrobe is warm and comfortable, but it's flammable! I am a smoker, the hood was up, the cigarette was in my mouth, I turned my head and the tip of the cigarette touched the hood and immediately set it on fire. This thing is dangerous! I can't imagine cooking in it or putting wood in the fireplace or anything that puts you close to a heat source!
