Review on Sceptre C275B-1858RN: Edge Less FreeSync Display with 165Hz, Flicker-Free, Built-In Speakers, Wall Mountable & Blue Light Filter by Evan Casillas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Absolutely crazy monitor

At first I was looking for at least a 144Hz display, but when I saw it happened to be on sale, a 165Hz CURVED DISPLAY?!? I fell for it and have no regrets. The viewing angle curve is amazing for your eyes, the smoothness of the display is unmatched by its competitors and navigating the settings is easy. Precision with the built-in Windows tool. Then tweak it further by using a white page background or whatever, as (assuming the monitor's blue dot color shift setting as well as the Windows night shift feature are disabled) the display looks a little yellow when viewed in the light of color. Backgrounds. Other than that, it only took me about 5 minutes to get the display colors where they should be and it wasn't difficult. It just takes patience.

Pros
  • My husband uses it for gaming and has never had a problem with it. He likes it very much.
Cons
  • The monitor backlight is too bright.
