The padding also seems to help hold the keyboard in place a little better, not that it was a problem before but I can say it wasn't . move randomly during intense gaming sessions. I also like the fact that it covers the area where my wrists and forearms rest when using the keyboard as it offers little padding compared to the old hard surface. Another of my initial concerns was that it easily attracts dust and dirt, but so far after use it seems easy to keep clean. Overall I think the product is doing a great job and I will buy again if the need arises, but so far the quality seems to indicate it will last.
