Low Carbon Steel Blade
This razor is made from steel with a lower carbon content than I prefer. This means the blade can keep its sharpness longer, but it won't be as easy to resharpen or polish to a real razor blade. High carbon steel should discolour if left in a drop of water overnight. Check it on the shank to check the carbon content. Overall I would have preferred a blade with a higher carbon content to bring it back to shaved condition when it needs sharpening.
