Terrible for 12 " scope
Tried for my 12" scope (f/5). Too many games! When the focuser is fully extracted, a slight movement of the collimator moves the laser beam a few centimeters to the primary side. Used it blindly and my secondary device failed. I had to do it manually through a hole in the lid. Tried this after a near perfect hand collimation, the point on the primary shifted 4 inches. The device itself appears to be collimated as the beam moves in a small circle (1 inch) as it rotates.
