Review on 🚲 BV 4-Bike Bicycle Hitch Mount Rack Carrier - Tray Style Smart Tilting Design for Car, Truck, SUV (4-Bike Carrier) by Rui Knain

I highly recommend the 4 bike rack. I had a cheap two wheeler hanger rack that scratched the bikes so badly from moving it and it was difficult to load bikes with sloping top tubes. I was expecting the 2" version to have an adapter but it unexpectedly came with a 2" pipe and a great wedge lock feature that keeps the coupler section securely in the coupler like it wasn't moving at all. Requires a wrench (included) to drive a bolt through the hitch pin which raises the wedge and there is a cotter pin in case the bolt loosens. Not only does he protect the shelf, but if someone wants to steal it, they'll need a wrench. The rest of the rack has a couple of hitch pins, so while the rest of the unit is fully secured, the rest of the unit can wobble a bit, but not enough to be an issue. It's worth being able to rotate the rack in a variety of ways. I cut short pieces from the pool noodles and placed them on the top tubes where the clamps come down. Another review said the rubber coating had worn away and scratched the bike, so I didn't risk it. SUV, I would just leave it on if you use it enough. The only negative thing I can single out is that the pipe covers, which snap open to prevent water from entering the pipe, didn't hold up well and the pair had cracks, but those are cheap at McMaster-Carr and I would they super stick. For the price, this shelf really can't be beat.
