First of all it is NOT easier to assemble than a regular bed frame. In fact, the design makes things more difficult as all the mounts are in the middle of the frame, giving taller people plenty of time to reach that area. Second, the brackets that supposedly hold the mattress in place keep falling off the frame and are therefore useless. Thirdly, the fittings in the kit are poorly made, so that a nut does not screw onto the screw at all. Others were very difficult to tighten as the wrench provided was too big for the nuts. After assembly, the frame is not bad, but I will not buy it again.
