Review on ⚡ Efficient and Modular SilverStone Technology 500W SFX-L Power Supply: 80 Plus Gold, Lengthened Design, Single Rail, Active PFC (SX500-LG) by Brett Zhu

**Pros**Power 500W80 Plus Gold Relatively quiet fan (even without zero speed fan mode in v1) Flat black cables100% modular**Cons**Slightly more SFX form factor ( 130 mm doesn't leave much room for cables in my FTZ01) **Other Thoughts** The V2 of this PSU is actually not much different from its original counterpart. The main change in v2 is the removal of the v1 semi-passive fan mode. There have been some complaints of the fan making a "grinding noise" as well as a slight hum, but this problem seems to have been greatly reduced with the V2 power supply. All in all, this is a very good little power supply. It's a bit larger than the standard SFX form factor so that's definitely something to keep in mind, but it did allow them to fit a larger 120mm fan, which definitely helps keep things cool and quiet. This is a reliable little PSU with 80plus Gold efficiency that gets the job done.
