I needed a case that was as small as possible and would protect my new 11 inch iPad Pro when carried alone without taking up too much space in my backpack or briefcase. A 9-10.1 inch sleeve is ideal. I almost bought the 11 inch case because the description made it sound like it was the right size for an 11 inch iPad, but I figured I could get away with that smaller size since the iPad is 11 inches and the case measures at the sides. I looked at the inside dimensions listed in the description (thanks to the seller for including them) and measured my iPad with keyboard. it was very, very close. I wasn't sure if it would fit but the next size up would have too much room and I don't need plus size sleeves. When it arrived I pulled it out thinking this iPad wouldn't fit in there. Even now, with the case next to the iPad, it doesn't feel like it fits, but it does. There is nothing wrong with the length measurement and the curves on the corners of the case are almost too round, but everything just fits and is easy to zip up and everything is securely protected in the case. There's more room widthwise (1/2 to 3/4 inch), leaving room for the Apple Pencil to stay on the side of the iPad while it's in the case. The folio's rubber material tends to snag the liner a bit so it takes some force to pull it out, but it's not bad at all and will almost certainly work itself out over time. The basic iPad also fits well, but has a little more room and can be pushed in and out more freely thanks to the smooth sides. There's a small zippered pocket on the outside that I probably won't use, but you can slip something thin like an Apple charging cable inside. The outer material feels durable and holds its shape well. The inside is soft and well sewn. After all, I couldn't be happier. If I were to design the perfect minimalist case for my iPad, it would look very similar to this one. Given the attractive price, it's perfect for those who only want to store their iPad, keyboard and Apple Pencil.
