*UPDATE* I now give this jacket an 8.5/10. It keeps you decently cool. This weekend we had a temperature of 90+ degrees. I didn't die from the heat. Good airflow with the liner removed and all vents removed. We too were caught by the rain. More than wanted. If you want to stay dry to the bone, this jacket isn't for you. Lil at least 30 minutes. We were almost 2 hours in the rain and no rain. My hands got a little wet below the elbows. Now I just mean light, sticky moisture. I definitely wasn't wet. I am very surprised that this jacket holds up so well for the price. My only complaint is the fit and the pockets. Looks weird to me. Very tight in the hips and huge in the chest. I don't have a "chest" either, so maybe that's it. I would have liked the pockets to be a bit bigger. I have an S9 and it barely fits in my pocket. I'm already waiting for my next HWK jacket to go on sale. I love the jacket, it fits great. It's not super cool, but I wouldn't call it hot either. It keeps me pretri comfortable. Haven't ridden in the rain yet so I'll try that next. Overall, for the price, it's worth it.
