It arrived very quickly, great Vita model, it's a good update. I also have a 1000 and always found the colors to be a bit over-saturated and the screen brightness never dimmed enough for playing in low light. However, on the Vita Slim screen, colors look much more natural and better. I find the Vita Slim has a better screen than the 1000 model. As for the khaki/black version, I had no problems setting it up in English, I inserted a memory card and started all my games and everything is fine. The color is very grey, not exactly khaki, but that doesn't matter. I wish it was still in the shrink wrap when I received it. It came with everything in the box just without the shrink wrap which would have been nice. All in all, it's a great offer for a special vita, if you're unsure, just grab it, because you won't regret it.
