Great replacement remote control

At first I had a problem with this remote control. I got it and put a new 9V battery in it and it didn't work at all, changed the battery, pressed the buttons harder, softer, closer to the fan, barely touched the fan! The fan did not turn on, nor did the red indicator button on the remote control light up. Leave it overnight and the next day it works magically and has been working great for over a week. The weirdest thing is that it works and saves me from having the perfect fan.
