I couldn't get him to pour coffee properly. Sometimes the filter was torn and the fat got into the cup. In other cases, the coffee dripped quickly (with a coarse grind) but then had a weak taste. With finer grinding, water will not seep through. Even if you press the maximum force, the piston almost does not move. You have to be really strong to push the water out of the container. It's a lot of work to squeeze coffee with a plunger. Plus it creates a huge mess and there are 5 pieces to keep track of and put together correctly every time. Several times I have poured coffee grounds and water into the top of the plunger because I forgot to remove the plunger first. so it was a mess. Seriously, I don't recommend this. It seems to work, but hardly. I would say that is generally a deficiency.
