Made me a coffee snob - now nothing tastes as good. My wife thinks it takes too long to make a cup so she still uses her reusable K-Cup. and my good beans. but it's normal. I don't have the patience to be honest - and a regular French Press has been a pain in the past - I think mostly because of the cleaning time. With an aeropress, cleaning is the easiest! Note the instructions are silly - hold the Aeropress upside down while steeping the coffee/water for a minute. .THEN turn the cup upside…

NO REFUND - Marriage. Not easy to use

First of all, THIS particular offer is a scam and cannot be returned. If you want protection, buy from another listing here: https://www.amazon.com/AeroPress-Coffee-Espresso-Maker-Bitterness/dp/B0047BIWSK/ Now for the product, mine was defective. I couldn't get him to pour coffee properly. Sometimes the filter was torn and the fat got into the cup. In other cases, the coffee dripped quickly (with a coarse grind) but then had a weak taste. With finer grinding, water will not seep through. Even…

Best single cup solution

I have owned the Aeropress for over two years and based on the number of filters I have used I have made about 600 cups of coffee with it. It has become an integral part of my daily life. It's quick, easy and the leftovers just throw in the trash or compost. But all of this has already been covered in these reviews. Here are a few additional points to consider: - It can brew multiple cups of coffee in just minutes and make each cup as weak or as strong as my guest wants. - If you expect your…

I've been using it for many years, but I can't recommend it anymore

When this gadget first came out, I switched from Melitta pour to this method and I really liked it - even as the tube failed the first time that same year i still love her. The plastic started to crackle like "alligator skin" and the seal didn't work. I called the company and a very nice person sent me a new tube, plunger and plug free of charge. When I asked him why not just ship the tube he told me it was best to ship the whole block to get the best possible seal. This is excellent customer…

Why spend crazy money!

I was very intrigued when my friend suggested this coffee maker. But after seeing the price I thought. But unfortunately I pushed the button and it turned on. I love good coffee and can be a sucker (that will come into play soon) for the latest "thingamagiggy" best coffee to hit the pike. PT Barnum was a bloody genius. Yeah, it's idiots like me that keep the madmen going. Anyway, it has arrived! Wow (sarcasm) I was amazed at how expensive plastic was used in a $38 coffee maker! And so many…

About 2 years ago I HATED coffee

So far I like the versatility of the Aeropress. I'll start by saying I hate coffee about 2 years ago. I was in Italy for a few weeks on business and found out when I was in Rome. So I decided to try espresso again in Italy. The difference was day and night. Even the espresso machine was light years better than what you could find at Starbucks or other chain stores. So I decided to give coffee another chance. Tried espresso in many places. Small cafes etc. Most small cafes and specialty places…
