Price + size - that's maybe the only positive. You will have a halo no matter what. The monitor's internal settings can only help given the cheaper panel used. For those unfamiliar, Ghosting looks like the old version of Trace-Pointers in Windows XP. Every movement on the screen leaves a "ghost trail". affects the height of the halos.
