We found (and adopted) a street dog who is active, smart and tireless. I tried to get her used to traditional Elizabethan collars before neutering - she didn't agree! Would grab her neck and take her off within 2 minutes whether it was the tie/collar version or the snap on version. Then she tried to blow up the collar - she couldn't get it off, but she clung to it until it either burst or she injured herself.
