At first my cat didn't understand what that was. I tried putting catnip on it, nothing. he didn't use it. but after a while. he learned how to use it and it became his favorite scratching post! I have that and cardboard and he hasn't used cardboard since he used wood. what else - the tree looks so cute! Sometimes the top leaves fall off, but it's very easy to collect them back Some cons - * When you take it out of the box, it has a very strong dusty and unpleasant smell. I had to vacuum it up and wait for the smell to go away because putting it in the room made it difficult to breathe in the room. but it will go away in a week or two. * The tree always wobbles when in use and is not stable enough. but it doesn't seem like it bothers my cat much, I think it's better to find a way to stick it to the floor somehow, I haven't found a way yet.
