I made these into two tiered cupcake stands that would fit in a white cupboard at my son's wedding. I took fancy silver paper plates, folded them in half and used a large washer for extra support. After that I put the equipment aside and use it again for big children's parties and cocktail parties. The use of paper plates is what makes them so versatile. I can make tiered coasters out of my antique china if I want.
