First of all I love this light now that it is installed. It looks just like the pictures and goes well with the atmosphere of my home. Other than that, the installation was a nightmare. First of all, the product description states that it is adjustable in length. While it's true, what it doesn't tell you, and what the written instructions in the box don't tell you, is that you need to cut the cable to the correct length and then strip the wires. If you don't have wire strippers, go for it. Second, and perhaps worst of all, there are no markings on the wires to indicate what's grounded, what's neutral, and what's hot. All you have to do is guess and hope you're right. It is also worth "adjusting" the height of the cable when cutting it. For those reading this review, a wire with a blue line is ground, a wire with a white line is neutral, and a wire with no color difference is hot. Third, the screws that attach the mounting plate to the ceiling don't match. with washers, and you really need them. So get ready. If you can get through these things, you're spot on.
