Review on Victron Energy Phoenix 500VA 12V Pure Sine Wave Inverter for 120V AC Power by Justin Peck

I bought this to replace a much cheaper sine wave inverter in my trailer. The previous inverter had very short battery cable studs, making it very likely that the battery cables would fall off and short out something. The rest of the electronics are in my Victron Energy caravan and I am very impressed. This unit was a little larger but easy to install and the battery cable clamps are much more secure. The only issue I had was the ECO mode, which monitors the AC load and turns off the inverter when the load is low. When I connect my MacBook to an inverter, the load is too light to be detected in Eco mode. This will make the Mac start/stop charging every few minutes while ECO mode searches for a charge. Fortunately, ECO mode can be turned off and a remote switch used to activate the inverter.
