I wore these under my pants as an extra layer to my everyday clothing when I was in Maine and separately to workout in cooler weather in Texas. They are very comfortable and warm enough for me but not too warm if I overheat while working in cool weather. Seems to regulate the temperature well. I don't think I would wear them alone if it was cold. ;)
