I bought an HDMI Long Range 150m/492ft HDBaseT 1080P Extender. I have primarily used it to transmit video and audio from my Sony a6500 camera over 100ft to an audience to view in another room. I bought a 125 foot Cat6 cable from him. The video feed was very clean with no noticeable lag when switching to a 1080p monitor. The transition to a 4K TV had a 1/3 second delay, but at least the audio was in sync so you couldn't tell until you saw what the camera was seeing at the same time. When testing at home, my cat ran around. and from time to time when I bumped into my cables, the video stream would cut out for half a second, which was alarming. So make sure nobody bumps into the wire. While working live, he never switched off for 4 hours. The sound was the reason it didn't get 5 stars. In the 4 hours I was live, there were 4 or 5 times when the video stream was perfect but the audio cut out completely for 1-2 seconds. This alarmed and confused my client. GENERAL INFO: The size of the device is SURPRISINGLY small. POE works great and the video feed was excellent. Installation took less than 5 minutes after opening the box. If only there were no sound problems.
