I was happy to receive them just in time for tomorrow's kayak trip, but looks like I'll have to trade them in for a smaller size. I wear a size 11 in almost every shoe, boot or sandal I ever wear. So when I ordered them based on the "true fits" rating system I chose my standard size 11. They are too big. You can see from the photos that I had to stretch the laces to tighten them on my feet. An excess of lace long enough for me to walk on. Even if they are so tight, they still don't feel safe. You can also see in a few photos where I point to the tip of my thumb and how they go nowhere near tucking into the toe-shaped grooves in the sole. Also, the sole of the shoe says 43. When I look online it seems to be a European size which should be about a US size 10. If I got a size 10 and they are bigger then the size is MUCH wrong. Now I'm not even sure if I'll go back and order a size 10. Overall they seem very comfortable, light and breathable as long as they fit. Order one size down and you'll probably love it.
